Christina Joannou Wight, president of RainyDay BridalWear, LLC, has used her textile and artistic talents to create the “WetKnot” – a sophisticated bridal gown raincoat. Inspired by her own rainy day ceremony, Christina created the ‘WetKnot’ to protect the bride and her dress from nature’s unpredictable elements. 

The WetKnot was the first product presented by RainyDay BridalWear and its innovative founder Christina Wight.  Christina attended North Carolina State University & Meredith College for textiles and design and her design work has been seen in Better Homes & Garden and Elegant Bride Magazines. She was a designer for Fearrington Village located in Pittsboro, NC and was a manager at Habitat for Humanity in Chatham County. She is a mother of 2 and has been a dedicated stay at home mother for the past 4 years.
